Stretch Marks Cure Exfoliation 4 Months Later

May 1st, 2009 by admin Leave a reply »

If you are looking for how to get rid of stretch marks and are thinking that the answer could very well be in Jean Wu's over complicated exfoliation method then think again.

I have now been doing this method for 4 months and there is No difference in the stretch marks. The skin looks different and smoother and rosier after the harsh skin scrubbing, but a few days later when it has recovered it goes straight back to how it was. Some of my stretch marks are tiny and even they have not budged at all.

Two months to go, but really I can see I am wasting my time. I know I sound negative, it's just that I would just give this ridiculous procedure up if it wasn't for this blog and for helping out the greater good. I don't think we are going to find the stretch mark removal cure in the Jean Wu method!

Hey, came upon your blog randomly. Just wanted to say thanks for trying out this method for all of us. I won’t be trying this method, but I will for sure take some MSM.
    Cheers :)

Firstly, I really appreciate what you are doing. I had started a few years back, on and off. I kept up for a month and my results were like yours. They would go back to the same thing. I had read many praises for the Jean Wu method, all over blogs and forums, esp forums.
This is excluding the testimonials on her site. Everything sounds too convincing on her site.
I did write to her a few times, no reply.

I am thinking of starting again and this time keeping up religiously, and seeing if this really does work. If it doesn’t, hmmm…

I also tried the Jean Wu cure, and didn’t works very well, I have tried everything believe me, Trilastin, Clarins, microcurrent theqniques, galvanic spa treatments with vitamins, collagen masks, and I dont remember what else, but let me say I’m using the dermaroller for 2 months and I see the difference, my stretch marks are barely noticeable, I do it every day in the mornings after shower I massage the areas and the I apply one ampoulle of Phytolastyl (Lierac Paris), I see such an improvement, besides I’m taking some spirullina capsules one of 500mg per day, this is the vitamin for the stretch marks, it helps to boost the collagen in your entire body, and believe me it help, I’m beauty specialist and I know a lot about this matter, but even for me was impossible to avoid the stretch marks during my pregnancy, so I really hope this help you guys and anybosy who looks at this blog

    Hi Johannna!,

It is true that the jean Wu technique does not work at all! I too am a fan of Spirulina, I take it in powder form every single day of my life. i have yet to see improvements in my stretch marks so I think for you it must really be the dermaroller having the effect.
What Dermaroller do you use? Where do you get it from?
    Any help will be appreciated!

I tried it for 6 months or more…didn’t work. It may have helped the purple marks fade to white faster, but that is not an improvement.

I bought the Jean Wu method e-book and all creams/wooden brush thing in 2004, did it for 3 months but not really notice any difference, maybe slight flattening out of the skin. I had 1 session of laser on the stretch marks on my breasts (2008) I have also had 6 sessions of microdermabrasion at a skin clinic (2009) , this definitly made them less deep tho they are still there they are nearly at the same level as the skin around them if you get what I mean, now I can cover them with foundation so you cant see them whereas before the foundation would have just gone into the ridges and looked awful. I have tried some very expensive creams, and now have a home derma roller that Im giving a go along with Retin A cream, and still using stretch mark creams containing darutoside etc. The stretch marks on my stomach and hips are still really deep after 14 years (would never be able to wear a bikini, I wear 50′s style swim suits to cover everything). Im going for a consulation at a Harley street clinic next week to find out about fraxel laser.
