It just seems more translucent and plump. Almost like the skin appears younger. I don't know if it is my imagination or what.I might also mention that I stay away from alcohol and coffee because I noticed that my face would break out heaps the days following a big drinking session. It must be because the MSM flushes it out of your system or something. I have been taking MSM powder for over a year now and I see definite improvements in my skin.
